Collaboration

Collaboration means to work with someone to achieve something. Collaboration matters to us because it shows our compatibility with each other. Our culture is very supportive. We work well with others, some more than others; you don't always get your choice in your group, so you have to learn to collaborate and compromise so that everybody in your group is proud of their work. I try to get along with my peers, knowing that they would appreciate it and do the same. Many mathematical studies have been possible only because of mathematicians collaborating. During the Car Project, I was having trouble with my partner. We didn't have a final draft on the day that it was due. Seeing this, we both decided to work very hard on it, helping each other out. We were finished at the end of the day and had created something that we were both proud of.
