Communication

To me, communication means to be able to express yourself clearly. It means to find the right words to say on the spot. At STEM, there are various group projects. This leaves room for miscommunication between members.  It is important that you get the right message across. Great communication skills can diffuse a conflict quickly. Since we are PBL, we have to present our projects. There are also projects that require you to present; I was an attorney in the Mock Trial project, meaning that I had to speak in front of the Court. My communication skills grew as a result of having to persuade the Court by being presentable. Proofs are a mathematician's way to communicate their idea. They are made so that they are easy to follow and leave no room for confusion.  I have made it a goal to talk to as many professionals as possible. This would be another helpful step for the "real world"

This proof explains the similarity between shapes.
